Edreys Wajed
Eat Off Art
Edreys is a Buffalo native and an artist of exceptional versatility. Known for his contributions as a visual artist, jewelry designer, musician, educator, and entrepreneur, he is perhaps most celebrated for his role as one of four artists behind the iconic Freedom Wall mural commissioned by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. His artistic evolution has led to a signature style of musically inspired paintings called “Check Out My Melody,” with his works featured in the permanent collections of the Burchfield-Penney Arts Center and Roswell Park Cancer Center. Canisius College also honors Edreys’ artistry with his mural commemorating the university’s 150th anniversary in Old Main Hall.
Alexa Wajed
Eat Off Art
Alexa is a multifaceted artist, trained chef, and jewelry designer. A Canisius College alumna with a BA in Hospitality Management, she refined her culinary skills through international experiences, including an externship in Positano, Italy, and is passionate about elevating vegetables as the centerpiece of every meal. Her jewelry line, “Fleathers,” transforms upcycled leather into lightweight, feather-like earrings, and her abstract art features bold, flowing lines that explore the relationship between positive and negative spaces. Alexa combines her talents to educate and mentor others, from teaching healthy eating habits to fostering creative expression through art.
