RA and OL Applications

Are you looking to get involved on Campus?

Do you want to make a difference in someones college experience?

If so, apply to become a Resident Assistant for the 2025-26 academic year or an Orientation Leader for Summer 2025!

Before beginning the application process, we recommended that you make sure you have the following items prepared.

-Updated Resume (Visit the Career Center for Free Resume review sessions)

-List of References (Names, Phone Number, Email, and Relationship)

Application Closes January 17, 2025 at 11:59pm

*If your cumulative, term GPA, or both, are less than a 2.5, we are asking that you do not apply for the position. After receiving applications, we look at everyone’s GPA and will inform you if you do not meet the 2.5 required GPA. The reason behind this is because we understand that you are a student first, and an RA/OL second. We want you all to be academically successful. If you need to, please take this semester to boost your grades and reapply next year.

Finance Board Applications

Hello Undergraduates and Graduates!

I hope your first few weeks of classes are going well! This is an email to apply for The Finance Board! The Finance Board acts under our student government (The United Student Association), but you do not need to be a part of the USA to be on The Finance Board. We meet on an as-needed basis but traditionally on Thursday at 6pm for about an hour. This opportunity is great for business students but it is also great for students who are looking to have a say in where their money goes on campus! We discuss how to properly allocate the student activity budget to clubs and organizations around campus. Anyone is welcome to apply. If you sit on another e-board, that is more than fine! We want to have a diverse board with different majors, grade years, interests etc.

The deadline to apply is Sunday, January 19th.

With the launch of Griff Connect we have made a few changes to the Petey Point system. Students who RSVP and attend events will receive more points, so make sure you take advantage of the RSVP system! In addition to attending events students will be rewarded points for engaging in the platform so make sure you take the time to complete your profile and check the platform often!
