About Us
The Afro-American Society is a student organization that strives to educate and encourage awareness, inclusivity, and celebration of Black culture, history, and achievements within our campus community. We recognize the contributions of those who came before us and dedicate ourselves to continuing their work through means of cultural, social, political and academic expression. We organize a diverse range of events, including General Body meetings, Afro Ball, Fashion Show, Soul Food Dinners, and Black Business Expo, among others. These events not only showcase but also celebrate the richness and vibrancy of African American culture.
