About Us
Little Theatre is a group of students who have a passion for a variety of theatre arts, including performing, technical design, set-building, costuming, and more! We are the oldest club on campus and continue to provide Canisius with entertainment from a wide catalog of shows, both classic and contemporary. If you like to act, sing, dance, build, sew, manage, paint, design, work with lights or sound, greet guests, or do hair and makeup, LT is for you. We build and paint our own sets, design and find our own props and costumes, design and operate the lights and sound while also starring in all of the productions. We work as a team on each show, either with our resident director or with our student directors. Little Theatre also puts on a variety night each semester called Studio X! Studio X is an event where anyone can get onstage to sing, dance, perform a skit or comedy routine, or show off any talent that they wish. It's a laid-back and fun atmosphere that celebrates all of our talents.
