The first social of the year. Low-pressure, and a chance to meet returning members and the Board before recruiting season starts.
Our largest professional event of the fall, co-hosted with the Division of Business. Local and national firms send recruiters; students circulate and make contact before fall recruiting closes. Business formal.
Five to six regional and mid-size Western New York firms — the realistic employer set for most of our members, and the counterweight to the Big 4 Panel. Recruiters and hiring managers, not just partners.
End-of-semester social before finals. Members only, no firms. The one fall event that has nothing to do with recruiting.
Spring shifts from first contact to depth — the firms you'd spend a career at, and the recognition of members finishing theirs.
Representatives from Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG on recruiting timelines, day-to-day work, and career paths. Our largest spring professional event, moderated by students.
Run with the Accounting Department. Awards, senior send-off, and guests from faculty, administration, alumni, professional firms, and government agencies.
One-speaker events booked opportunistically — executives, alumni, public officials, and specialists. Zero to two a year, depending on who we can get.
