Who recruits Canisius accounting students — and how our programming is built to put you in front of them.

The Big Four

National and global firms

Representatives from all four Big Four firms join our Big 4 Panel each spring to talk through recruiting timelines, day-to-day work, and long-term career paths.

Deloitte

PwC

EY

KPMG

Worth saying plainly

The Big Four are not the only path

Most of our members build careers at regional and mid-size firms, in industry, or in government. Those paths are not consolation prizes — they often mean earlier responsibility, better hours, and a faster route to the work you actually want to do.

Our Regional Firm Panel exists specifically as the counterweight to the Big 4 Panel, and it brings the recruiters and hiring managers who make the decisions.

Regional

Western New York firms

Five to six regional and mid-size Western New York firms join our Regional Firm Panel each October. The regional market consolidates frequently, so the roster changes year to year — the current lineup is announced ahead of each panel.

Beyond public accounting

Government and industry

Accounting graduates also move into government administration, regulatory agencies, banking, financial services, and corporate finance. Representatives from government agencies are invited to our Annual Banquet alongside firm guests.
